Bookkeeping is the service.
Financial restoration is the result.

We provide the specialized monthly bookkeeping law firms need while working alongside—not replacing—the firm’s existing accountant.

When the records are unreliable, entering more transactions does not correct the underlying problem. We determine what went wrong, reconstruct the affected records, verify the result and establish a stronger recurring process.

The 25th is more than a name. It is a standard.

The name was inspired by an Ontario trust-accounting requirement: a law firm’s monthly trust reconciliation and comparison must be created within 25 days after each month-end.

The name reflects the discipline behind that obligation: accurate records, accountable processes and the confidence that comes from knowing the firm’s trust records are complete, current and supportable.

When historical discrepancies or incomplete records make that standard difficult to meet, The 25th restores the financial foundation and rebuilds the recurring process needed to move forward with clarity.

Records that can withstand review.

Law firms must be able to demonstrate that their trust records are complete, current and supportable.

The 25th prepares and reconstructs monthly three-way trust reconciliations and comparisons, testing agreement among the reconciled trust bank balance, the trust accounting records and total client trust liabilities.

Reconciliation procedures, timing, documentation and review requirements are tailored to the rules of the firm’s governing jurisdiction.

We investigate discrepancies across Clio, QuickBooks, bank activity and client trust ledgers; correct unreliable financial history; and rebuild the recurring process needed to keep the records current.

Our work is designed to strengthen the firm’s financial records against applicable law society, state bar or other governing regulator requirements and improve readiness for accountant review, internal oversight or regulatory examination.
